I think by now I’ve moved houses 10+ times here in the Netherlands. And every place without a floor made me go through the same process of calculating again. It got frustrating. The materials library can hold up to 10 different materials. Signed-in users get access to Cloud storage as well for free. No credit-card, no subscription, no ads.
A paid version will become available in the future, which will contain features for more professional users. For the casual DIY-er the tool will remain 100% free forever.
You can calculate odd-shaped rooms with the multi-box room feature. Simply measure certain square area’s of the room and combine them. The app does the rest
Yes, each room has an option to add insulation. Just make sure you added insulation as a material in your materials-library!
The app functions as a basic calculator, by adding in all the required metrics and numbers it gives you the total costs per room, and shows a total house-project costs. Just fill out the materials library with the info you have.
Yes! This tool supports various different room types and shapes, and has an irregular room function which allows you to combine surface area’s to create an odd-shaped room if needed. Just follow the app’s instructions!
