Digital Tools
“Fine, I’ll do it myself” is what I thought when I created the tools you can find here. They are simple HTML-based functions, no online storage, cache, cookies or whatsoever is created with the data you put into it.
For the tools themselves, I created the following two:
- Salary comparison tool
- Subscription auditor
The first one came to life quite recently. I was contemplating a job-switch which also involved going back from full-time to part-time working hours. I was going to earn more gross salary, my bonus and benefits would change. But figuring out the real, net impact on my monthly earnings was impossible. No tool gave me straight answers. So I built one myself with AI from scratch, pulling in data from the Dutch Tax authorities and tweaking the calculations. It’s aimed at Dutch situations only, sorry.
The Subscription Auditor is another tool that came from my own frustrations. Getting insight into where your money flows with the thousands of services these days is a hassle, and some even charge cancellation fee’s! This tool helped me understand my monthly & yearly costs, benefits of switching to yearly payments or costs of cancelling all together. Use it well!
